Together as a band for about one year, The Blue Beats decided to have a photograph taken of the group. Meeting at the Sears, Roebuck and Co. photography department one spring morning in 1967, two photographs were made. One of the photographs appears on the cover of the book "Band Boys". The second photograph shown below is used to identify the members of The Blue Beats.
