Blue Beats Mix - 1966 Live Tape Recording
Scott Stinson at work on his peral white Stewart drums. A new set of blue sparkle Slingerland drums will soon be in his future.
A favorite venue, The Blue Beats received invitations to perform on three occasions at Beverly Hills Junior High School - a fall 1966 back-to-school dance, a December 1966 prom, and a spring 1967 dance.

The black and white photos of The Blue Beats performing at the spring 1967 dance were published, along with an article about area bands, in the April 9, 1967 issue of the Huntington Herald Dispatch Sunday Magazine.

For Your Love - 1966 Live Tape Recording
The two music clips on this page, "Blue Beats Mix" and "For Your Love", were taken from a Rogers reel-to-reel tape recording made by Dennis Snell during the 1966 back-to-school dance.
